REQUIREMENTS
- Applications for Summer 2012 must be completed by May 1, 2012. Fall 2012 applications are due by June 21, 2012.
- Interns may not work for competing organizations, publications or companies including (but not limited to) the following: Flagpole, UGAStyle, Young, Foxy & Free, Yelle. Official school organizations are acceptable and do not fall under this category and will be considered on an individual basis.
- Interns must provide a calendar of dates that they will be unable to work for the term (this is limited to the business week; weekends are not included) prior to beginning work.
- Interns are expected to be prompt, respectful and professional while working at, and therefore representing, BLVD.
Interns should understand that the BLVD Internship Program is structured differently than most programs. It is intended to be a rigorous, yet enabling opportunity to gain real-world experience in a variety of areas. For example, at BLVD, rather than working under a stylist, you are the stylist. This is a hands-on learning program designed to provide a unique opportunity to motivated and creative students so that they can better further their interests, experience and — ultimately —their chosen careers. - Weekly Intern Meetings are mandatory
- Interns should expect to work 12 —20 hours per week unless otherwise noted.
